A Truly Wonderful Stay!

convenient location friendly staff cute atmosphere quick kettle

The location was convenient. I found the staff very friendly and helpful . The pub downstairs had a cute atmosphere, and the food was AMAZING!!! My room had tea and coffee facilities, and the kettle worked quickly.

The water pressure in the shower was a little low.

I saw many traditional beers served at the pub downstairs. It looked well-stocked. The katsu chicken curry was delicious!!! The pub has a lively atmosphere. I really liked that.

The receptionist quickly brought extra towels and linen when asked. This was helpful. One waitress, Becky, was friendly and helpful. She stood out. The bar staff were responsive to my inquiries.

a few issues

splattered mirrors dirty bed runner

general cleanliness was not great in the room. i saw splattered mirrors and coffee stains up the walls. a heater had not been dusted in what looked like 20 years. i also noted a very dirty bed runner and stained towels in the bathroom.

i liked the location as it was only a short walk to the town centre. the staff were friendly and always happy to help. i found the food tasty too. i'd happily stay there again.

the bathroom could have been cleaner but it wasn't a major problem.

the pub had great drinks deals every day. fresh, homemade roast dinners used locally sourced meat! easy parking was available on the quiet street at the side.
